John joined Greenwood Capital in 2015 as Compliance Administrator, where he is an integral member of the Compliance Management Committee.

In his capacity to administer the day-to-day requirements of Greenwood Capital’s compliance program, John values auditing the different aspects of the Firm’s operation.  This enables him to touch and learn from every aspect of the business— identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures.  As the administrator for the Firm’s adherence to the Global Investment Performance Standards®, John continues to streamline processes for monitoring and annual verification.

A graduate of Lander University with a B.S. in business administration/accounting, he completed four internships with Elliott Davis Decosimo, Certified Public Accountants, while at Lander.  He has also achieved the NRS Investment Adviser Core Compliance Certificate.
