Fostering an environment where all feel valued and encouraged to contribute is important to Denise. With oversight for compliance and operations, Denise strives to work daily with the team to accomplish the strategic allocation of resources aligned with client service and Firm goals. When these things are harmonious, much is accomplished and, she hopes, all feel that their contribution has made a positive difference.
Denise joined Greenwood Capital in 2013 with oversight for operations, and in 2016 was named Chief Compliance Officer. She works with the entire team to foster an ongoing culture of fiduciary responsibility and compliance. Denise is also an investment adviser representative and a Principal of the Firm.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Lollis began her career with Greenwood Capital’s affiliate, TCB Corporation, where upon her departure she was managing shared corporate services for the TCB family of companies. She earned her B.A. and B.S. from Lander University and her M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina – Aiken. Denise is also a proud graduate of the SC Governor’s School for the Arts where she studied visual arts. She believes her foundation in art has help her be a better problem solver with the ability to see an entire business “composition.” She has also achieved the NRS Investment Adviser Core Compliance Certificate and is a Certified Planning Fiduciary Advisor for qualified group retirement plans.
