Melissa D. Bane Joins Greenwood Capital Ownership

Greenwood Capital is pleased to announce that Melissa D. Bane, Senior Private Client Advisor, joined the ranks of Greenwood Capital employee ownership on October 1, 2020.

In her role as Senior Private Client Advisor, Ms. Bane draws upon more than 30 years of credentialed experience in the financial industry to come alongside her clients, developing a complete view of their financial picture, including life, investment, tax, insurance and estate planning goals. This enables clients to focus on the life planning aspect of financial planning towards their personal fulfillment.

Ms. Bane is a graduate of Lander University, and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner®, Personal Financial Specialist®, and Chartered Financial Consultant. She is also a SC licensed life, accident and health insurance professional.

Ms. Bane is currently a member of the SC Financial Planning Association, serves on the Grants Committee for Greenville Women Giving, and is a member of the Board and Past President for the Arts Council of Greenwood County. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and SC Association of CPAs.  Ms. Bane routinely conducts Financial Literacy Seminars in the community for local churches, civic organizations and employers.
