Greenwood Capital Team Hires Garrett Minton and Anne Thompson

GREENVILLE S.C. – Greenwood Capital is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates: Garrett Minton as Associate Advisor in the Greenwood office and Anne Thompson as Private Client Advisor in the Greenville office. These additions highlight Greenwood Capital’s continued growth as the firm expands services across the Upstate.

According to Walter B. Todd, President and CIO, “Over the past forty years, we have grown to serve clients in over 20 states and manage over $1.7 billion in assets. However, we want to make sure we continue to provide personalized service to our clients and remain connected to our communities. We are excited to add Garrett and Anne to the team to help us achieve that goal.”

Minton joins the firm with over eight years of experience in the financial industry with organizations such as Merrill Lynch, Vanguard, and Robinhood. In his role as Associate Advisor, he will be providing support to senior advisors and nurturing client relationships as part of the team’s holistic approach to wealth management. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, Minton is especially focused on helping clients reach their retirement goals.

“It is crucial to understand what matters most to our clients, so we can develop a personalized strategy to help them manage their wealth today while considering the impact it can have for years to come.” Minton says, “It’s an honor to join an organization rooted in the Upstate and committed to making a positive impact in the community I call home.”
